Zachary Janes is an ABFAS board certified podiatrist and is excited to join the team at Podiatry Associates of Indiana. Dr. Janes was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he was also a four-year varsity collegiate swimmer.
Dr. Janes earned his doctoral degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, where he was part of the Pi Delta National Honor Society. After receiving his doctoral degree, Dr. Janes completed his three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois; followed by a fellowship at the Foot and Ankle Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Indiana Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Janes especially enjoys treating athletes and sports injuries. His other specialties and interests include bunion and hammertoe correction, ankle pain, foot and ankle fracture repair, nerve decompression, reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage, as well as general podiatric care. In his free time, Dr. Janes enjoys swimming with the Indy Aquatic Masters swim team, and bike riding.
