Dr. Samant was born in Mumbai, India and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science degrees in biochemistry from Furman University. He then received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
He completed his surgical residency at Beaumont Hospital – Wayne, just outside of Detroit, Michigan. His surgical training provided a complete experience in elective forefoot and rearfoot surgery, trauma, limb salvage and diabetic wound care.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking outdoors, learning new languages and spending time with his friends and family.
