He then attended Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed his surgical residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout his residency, Dr. Howard was involved in numerous research projects and presentations leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national foot and ankle seminars. He is extensively trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery with a strong focus and interest in ankle arthroscopy as well as rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. He is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery ®. Dr. Howard is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He has staff affiliations with IU Health Hospital West, Methodist Hospital and Surgery Center of Carmel. In his spare time, Dr. Howard enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
